Located in the southeast corner of Tsinghua University, the building is an intelligent teaching and research office building integrating green, ecological, environmental protection and energy saving concepts.

The environmental energy-saving building fully demonstrates the most advanced energy-saving technology in the world through the key links of architectural design, equipment and material selection, construction, operation and management. Solar energy and natural gas are the main energy sources of the building. The solar panels installed on the roof and the back platform can generate electricity by solar energy. At the same time, the natural gas power generation and the combined heating, power and cooling system are adopted. The waste heat generated by the generator set in winter is directly used for heating, and the waste heat generated by the generator set in summer is used to drive the absorption chiller.
